
Megan mayer
Megan Mayer is a performer based in St. Louis, Missouri. She began her dance training at the Professional Dance Center in St. Louis studying ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. Growing up, she performed with the MUNY, Dance STL, EKHO Entertainment, and Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation. Megan competed as a finalist in the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition where she received the Fromm Family Dance Award for Dance Performance. Recently, Megan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lindenwood University with a BFA in Dance with an emphasis in Contemporary, as well as the 2022 recipient of the Dance Award.
Megan has presented work in numerous Lindenwood University Dance Concerts, as well as Seen: STL, North Central American Collegiate Dance Association Gala Concert, STL Rhythm Collaborative's IN DUE TIME, and The Woodshed Experience. She is a proud alumnae of the 2021 Tap Program at The School at Jacob's Pillow, earning the Professional Advancement in Dance Award. Performance credits include STL Rhythm Collaborative's IN DUE TIME, Chicago Human Rhythm Project’s Rhythm World 32, Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis Deadman's Party and Love At First Fright, TAPN2TAP Concert, American Tap Dance Foundation's Something's A'foot!, among other St. Louis performance events. Megan also performs as the featured tap dancer with St. Charles Big Band. She is a faculty member with Performing Arts Centre in St. Charles, Missouri and STL Rhythm Collaborative. This is Megan’s 5th season performing with moSTLy TAP.
