dance after school
After our successful summer camp session, we are very excited to be collaborating again with Lindbergh Community Education and Recreation to bring you after school dance!
Get an introduction to dance techniques in jazz dance, hip hop, and tap dance. Instructors will lead dancers through healthy warm-up, stretching techniques, and the process of working together to create choreography. Explore each of these dance disciplines and learn to express emotions and tell stories through rhythm and movement. Dance shoes may be worn but are not required. No previous dance experience required. All dancers should bring a water bottle.
6 week session:
Mondays, September 12-October 17, 2022
Grades 3-5, 5:30-6:30pm
Grades K-2, 4:30-5:30pm
Sperreng Middle School

Unfortunately, due to lack of space availability, our adult tap classes will not meet this session. Don't worry! We'll be bringing them back with even more class opportunities for all ages and levels as we prepare to secure our home space. We truly appreciate your support and patience as we move through this growth transition. Looking for more?
Join us at one of our free monthly jam sessions. If you are looking to learn more about tap dance, we highly recommend attending a jam session. Meeting on the second Saturday of every month, September - December 2022, from 6:00-8:00pm, these are a great way to learn more about the improvisational side of tap dancing. There is no pressure to participate. There is lots to learn and enjoy by watching. Movers of all styles and musicians of any instrument are welcome to join in. All ages welcome!
