STL Rhythm Collaborative's in-school performing arts education program is designed to make performing arts education accessible to elementary through high school aged students.  By facilitating free programs within area schools, we eliminate the barriers that would keep a student from having access to a performing arts education, such as lack of income or transportation.

Activities take place at school either during the school day or after school, and can be designed as a one-time workshop or an ongoing residency.  Program activities include interactive rhythm and movement activities that introduce music theory and tap dance basics. Students learn about the performing arts, physical health, and how to express emotions in a healthy way, through rhythm. 

 

We feel strongly that EVERY PERSON should have access to the arts.  We are confident that our school programs will have a profound impact on the area's youth.
