alyssa hakan

Alyssa Hakan grew up in Springfield, Missouri, and trained under the direction of Lorraine Dunn at Springfield Little Theatre. She has been dancing her whole life and choreographing tap since the age of 14. She graduated from Ozark’s Technical Community College with an Associate of Arts degree and an Electronic Media Certificate. She is currently studying at Lindenwood University, double majoring in Cinema Arts and Dance with an emphasis in Jazz and minoring in Musical Theatre. She gained her tap training from Chloe and Maud Arnold from the Syncopated Ladies and was in their youth tap company “No Filter Sole Talk.” She also received tap training from Meghan Way Stinson and was a member of “Rhythmic Souls Tap Company.” Alyssa has a huge passion for performing and some of her theatrical credits include “Beauty and the Beast”, “SpongeBob”, “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, “White Christmas”, and “Matilda” at Springfield Little Theatre. She has also performed in “Dead Man’s Party” at Six Flags St. Louis. She loves choreography and has been a MainStage choreographer at Springfield Little Theatre for the production of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, choreographer for Central High School’s production of “Big Fish,” and was the tap choreographer for “White Christmas” and “SpongeBob” at Springfield Little Theatre. She has also choreographed a disco tap dance for Lindenwood University’s Fall Dance Concert. Alyssa is thrilled to be joining moSTLy TAP as an apprentice!
